One insert of the belt will turn it off just for that journey. So VA can immobilise his passenger seat for his big camera. Cool TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Oh we wear our belts ok Couver, in fact Australia was the first country in the World to introduce compulsory seat belts and wearing in cars and Victoria (where I live) was the first State in Australia!!...........and make you pay dearly if you don't. Think we have a compliance rate of around 91% Nationally. Just more useless trivia! Razz RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

Before the seat belt law came into effect, two of my brothers were coming back from a night out, we don't know what happened but something made them swerve off the road and they hit a tree, my elder brother was killed instantly and my younger brother critically injured. If they had been wearing a seat belt my brother would still be here today.

Please wear your seat belts always!! I know its an annoying 'bong' but it does remind you, that's what it's there for!

Living/driving on a farm it is sometimes not practical to belt-up.

Ok, on roads you should always wear a seatbelt, but lets not forget these cars can be used as work vehicles off road. Sometimes, I have to move the vehicle only a couple of inches, in reverse, for which I have to hang out the door to make sure I don't hit the anything.

Wearing a seat belt in that situation is impossible.

There can be a variety of reasons for asking a question......not just the obvious ones!

We are all aware of the dangers of driving without seatbelts. We are NOT in this forum to be taught why, boy!

If somebody wants to drive - a couple of feet or a few hundred miles - let them be. They have their reasons, period!

If you do not agree, say your piece once and forever keep your peace! Malaysia Boleh!

Two girlfriends were speeding down the motorway at well over a 100 miles per hour without their seatbelts on.

"Hey," asked the brunette at the wheel, "see any police following us?"

The blonde turned around for a long look. "As a matter of fact, I do."

"Oh, NOOOO!" yelled the brunette. "Are his flashers on?"

The blonde turned around again. "Yup...nope...yup...nope...yup..."

Hey Singletrack

Whatever gave you the idea I want you removed? Read my post again.

RAD was trying to explain that he has no intention to drive on the highway without seatbelts. Its jut on the farm, a couple of inches. Why do you have to say that he's stretching it? Couldn't you accept his explanation? Must you go on attacking him?

This is no debate! Nobody was debating the merits on weariung seatbelts. Everybody on the forum agrees on the wearing of seatbelts!! Its just that occasional indiscretion... .What's your problem?

You, big man, are not acting your age... .

OK. Behind YOUR keyboard far away - make a challenge! Learn how to accept that others are different. Malaysia Boleh!
