Has anyone had any dealings with this Dealer? Good Bad or Indifferent

I've used them 3 times...very efficient but very pricey

I found them ok, but I would give Lookers Hadliegh a wide birth?

New boy here, just joining in, I travel most of the UK in my job but during the summer I make a lot of use of the A12 into Norfolk, my Sport had a suspension problem one afternoon heading for Yarmouth and I called in at Chelmsford, I was none to happy with the girl on reception, lippy and load I would say Never again

I have used Lookers in Hadliegh for the past 8 years but when I wanted to order my RRS they inferred I was lying about a quote I had been given from elsewhere and refused to descuss it, this along with promising me a test drive last year that never transpired, I took my business elsewhere!
Even after I got the car and popped in for some mats they wouldn't believe me until I showed them the Invoice.
I can highly recomend Webbers in Basingstoke, all done on the phone and they stayed open late on a Friday so that I could pick it up a day early!

That sounds a bit like me, a mate of mine said that Broadfields IN Bishops Stortford had Sports for Sale, I went in to buy and they looked at me up and down and if you can get it cheaper then off you Go because I AM NOT SELLING YOU ONE NO ONE GIVES DISCOUNT.
When I showed my quote he more or less said it was fiction. Weird People I think it is Lookers now

Actually, they're pretty good... they let me go out in one of their RRSs before I bought mine and the sales guy was a good chap too. I think the Mrs has had her FL serviced there also.

Hi all , New here , just liked to say what an excellent forum been reading these pages for days ..... I work / live east london / essex just wondering if anyone had any good reports about dealers in the area for when i need to service / fix ( crossing fingers ) ive been to hadleigh for some parts anf found the parts guy was very helpful but the service people i spoke to seemed to have their heads somewhere the sun dont shine Some advice would be appreciated .

I bought a new RRS TDV6 from Lookers Hadleigh. The sales guy was called Neil Garstin, he was friendly and threw in a few extra bits matts etc but no discount beyond that. I did pay for supergurad which was a rip off at Land Rover. To be honest I fully tested this by walking on their final offer and they would have let me go. I actually felt frreassured by this as I felt their claim of not being able to give discounts of the car might be true.

I started to have probelms and it had to go back in a couople of times and a few items had not been right since I picked it up. I found the service manager hard to deal with and eneded up deailing directly with Sandy Roulston who runs the place. He was helpfull and eventually agreed to replace my car. I did this and eventually paid some more money to get the TDV8 which I am very happy with.

If you use them I would recommend working with Neil, he is not the most knowledgable Land Rover person I have ever met put he always called me back, which for some dealers is a major achievement.
