Transfer Case ECU Location

I think I have water ingress in the Transfer case ECU - I am having issue locating it.

Any pointers would be appreciated

It's with the ECU in a box (the "E Box") on the firewall behind the battery. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Remove the battery and you should see the e-box. Remove the cover by releasing the clip on each side.

Why do you think you have water ingress in to the control box? What symptoms are you experiencing? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I have been having the HDC fault changed the brake switch but also I recently power washed the engine and I have the LR Christmas tree on the Dash so that's got to be the problem

Well this really blows I cleaned contacts found some corrosion and used dioxit on the contacts after moving the corrosion. Reassembled ran my Nanocomm to clear the ECU's and now I have a Permanent ECU Failure on the Transfer case.

Any suggestions ?

I think the ECU is Toast, I checked the fuses and the Nanocomm is unable to read the ECU info. I am wondering if an ECU will fix this or if there is other damage to the system

Maybe take the ECU out again, check for bent pins and displaced terminals on the connectors and then reseat all the connectors and try it again. If still no go then there are specialists who can fix the ECU in the UK bba-reman are often recommended but maybe you have local repairers? Good luck! 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
