NAV Screen Protectors

I'm looking to purchase a NAV screen protector, I scratched mine while detailing the interior (damn it!) I found no less than 5 different ones online. They all claim to "be the best" I know, it's not a major purchase, just thought I would check in to see if anyone has one that they are pleased with.

Thanks...

Prupas,

Thanks for the response, good to hear it works and thanks for taking the time to include the site. We now live in Genoa, if you come through town look for a Giverny Green HSE!

I also have the same screen protector sold on ebay by screenpatronus; it's invisible and easy to clean.
They can also make some screen protectors for the headrest DVD screens on demand.
Take care. RRS HSE, Buckingham Blue , Ivory/Aspen Interior, Luxury Package (Cherry Wood, Cooler Box, etc...), RSE, SIRIUS, PTI, Tasmod Sill Plates

I read the comments and purchased one on ebay from the USA. I spent ages trying to get the super-thin clingfilm onto the screen but couldn't do so without leaving multiple trapped air-bubbles. Obviously, the American lads are both more patient and more dexterous because I threw the bloody thing into the bin. I'll now just have to be a little more careful when touching the screen than our American friends!! Laughing

Once you place it where you want it...it is best if you use a credit card to remove the bubbles. Slide it along the screen and push them out the sides. Good luck

I bought one on eBay also...yes, there were a few air bubbles after putting it on, but I pushed those out with my fingers to the edges (did not have my credit cards with me....). A few remained after that but have now gone. I suspect from the heat generated by the screen when it is on. Can't say I had any problems with the alignment either - tucked it up to one corner and pressed it down diagonally across the screen surface. The whole thing took about five minutes...including chasing the air bubbles.

Works fine - need's a little more emphasis when touching the screen to get a response but was both cheap and easy to install which is a fair trade off. The one I bought can apparently be removed, washed and reinstalled...for the price, I'll just order another one.

I'd get it out of the bin and give it another go... 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

Ok - I have had continuing dialogue with Martin Fields [ email ] they have sent me numerous templates to chech/verify size of screen & protector etc.

we have finally settled on a perfect fit size of 159mm wide & 92mm high

Now waiting to hear - what happens next - ie cost etc ????

I'll see what we can do on volume etc as well
