2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Lux Buckingham Blue
My Drivers seat moves on pull away and stopping.

I note that this is a known concern on the Range Rover Sport, Discovery 3 & 4 and Freelander 2 model.

Land Rover have apparently issued a technical bulletin to there dealers telling them on a containment process to just adjust the seat cables and not to replace the seat runners until a quality assured seat rail is available.

That is not very helpful to me as I am told that after this adjustment has been carried out the seat will exhibit the same concerns after a short while of use.

Does anyone know if the Quality Assured Seat rails are available now?

I would appreciate any news on this issue.

Thank you

Hi there,
Don't know if new seat rails have been developed, but yes, the cable seems to stretch quite soon after adjusting. Mine has been done twice and it still does it.
That reminds me, I must lose a stone or three!

Cheers

Hi

That's what several other owners have told me about the adjustment process.

I am not sure if it has any connection with height or weight, it would appear to happen to most of the vehicles as lisited.

Lets hope the new Rails are available as it makes me mad every time I drive my RRSport
