Nope, it's not mine but is one of the pre production evaluation units run out of Solihull. That's got a Santorini roof and 21"s so I know that car.
As for HUD Mark, I don't know why its not on the configurator but I haven't been told its not in for launch; equally I'm Vehicle Engineering, not Sales so I can't say with 100% conviction it is in either; a different part of the company

Well it certainly looks great. As for the HUD, we don't know why it's not available to order, the dealers (or at least mine) don't either. Maybe you could fire off an email along the lines of...

"You do realise that the HUD which my guys worked long and hard to develop isn't in the configurator, don't you?"

I suppose it's possible it's delayed for the first few months so not available to first cars. Not a show-stopper for me but if it was available, I probably would. Mark

Landrover are getting so good at this parting customers with their cash!
Just look at the amount of people who bought a new model as a stopgap , just to get the spec they want six months down the line.........two cars sold to the same guy in six months?? Other manufacturers can only dream of that scenario!

Cheers with just a hint of green

Dave,
Just thinking about one of these . Is the suspension set up any different to the standard RRS2? I have an AB with 22 inch wheels, and while the ride is fine, I wouldn't like it to be any firmer. What will be the SVR with 21 inch wheels be like in comparison ?

Bob,
We've worked very hard to keep the ride quality in line with the Range Rover core attibutes whilst pushing the boundaries on handling.
This is a little easier to acheive when you have dampers that can have variable tuning, so we'd like to think our ride hasn't degraded that far, if at all.
The 295/22 Contisports are a specific tune to this vehicle and the 275/21s are carryover core tyre so the characteristics remain. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with either.

My ride and road noise are also not bad at all on the 22's... but the roads here are exceptional.....

There is one bad stretch of road I go over every week though and ...it's like having road works going on in the car... Laughing 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

As previously noted, we've done an awful lot of test miles on these cars, 21"s and 22"s for every aspect of the car. We haven't degraded from the standard car in NVH except for a mild increase in exhaust volume..... Rolling with laughter
