Discount ?????

Just wondered if anyone has managed to get a discount (Without being related to the dealer) ?

I am 3 weeks into accidental ownership, went in to order another Disco x demo and came out with a new Sport (canceled order, chap canceled while I was looking) it was in stock in the compound so two days later I was driving round in her.

I managed to get a discount I thought a good discount of £3k just wondered if anyone else managed it, must admit I was lucky, that makes a change Thumbs Up

Yes, a good result; I haven't asked my dealer in case he hurts himself falling off his chair laughing.

I've recently had to pay about £13k over list for a (different) secondhand car because new ones are not available, though I did get £1k off to sweeten the deal. Mark

Mark was that a Macan........

Only issue I had with mine was I had no choice with spec, the chap who had ordered her on put two options on auto dipping lights (I hate them always have) and the black headlining.

She is a bit dark inside, but after putting 2000 miles in 3 weeks I must say I like it. Usual problems with not that smart smart keys etc but it is a Range Rover Whistle

Biggest problem I have is that I have a green lane about a mile from my house and just haven't the nerve to take her down it and through the river just don't want to scratch her, well not yet anyway.

No, not a Macan though it is selling very well with extraordinary lead times, 2 years. Mark

Costco offer members Land Rover discount valid at participating garages, Harwoods participate and I got 2% off a new Sport- though in the end I traded with Hunters Guildford (Dave McHugh / Stephan Shortland) who matched the Harwoods discounted price.

We ordered the car back in May so check current offers (you need to be a Costco member,,)

My wife managed to get a £3k discount on the RRS that she ordered, but this was because the dealer had made a mistake on the finance agreement. The dealer informed us about it and once I was satisfied that it was in our favour and not theirs we were happy.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that its possible to get discounts now. Will be a few orders being cancelled due to the security issues.
