Belgium 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Those tail pipes look pretty awful to me. Also have to wonder where you can go with those wheels without running the risk of damaging them.

Reading through the listing on eBay, I got to wondering why Land Rover call the Java Black "Metallic"? I paid 800.00 EUR for that option but compared to my Volvo XC90 which is also black and "metallic", there are no apparent metal flakes in the paint on the RRS. Not that I'm complaining - the XC90's paint is impossible to match when re-touched.

Of course, they could have gone the Saab route which is to have a black paint which is not metallic but for which they charge more on the grounds that black paint is more difficult to apply (or popular...). 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

I mean............. the balck grille looks wrong Sad

The rear looks naked

And i'm not too sure the pipes look right Confused

Mind you I have always thought the supercharged should have embossed logos on the headrests - something a little more pleasing & appropriate than a letter " K " Wink
