I can't decide whether they were just wanting to get it out of the way so that they could drive through the ford themselves or whether they'd been asked to move it.

The thing appears to have the keys in the ignition so they could perhaps have taken off the steering lock and put it in neutral. Would have been easier to move then. Oh, and a shame they didn't just reach down and attach to the rear recovery point!

With that much damage (one c-pillar ripped through plus the flooding of the interior) I doubt it'd be fit for anything other than breaking for spares. I bet the engine is totally water-locked with bent rods etc. - I assume the driver drove it in until it died. After all, there's the best part of 1000-1200mm of water there so the intake must have been submerged at some point. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I would of thought that RR was totalled before they tried to tow it out. I also noticed that when the rear wheels were visible, they were locked up, which would explain why they kept snapping the tow rope/strap/rear pillion.

I personally don't get why they went through the water after removing the RR................ Even with a snorkel fitted, the vehicle interior would be flooded.

These guys love getting water inside their 4x4s. You only have to watch them driving through 4+ feet of water at pay and play sites to see that. Part of the fun seems to be opening the door and laughing as the water cascades out.

Anyone deep wading in a Defender, for example, will be well used to getting wet feet because the doors etc. leak like sieves. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Bunch of Censored

when the camera shows the inside thru the drivers window it looks like the gear shift is in drive, no wonder it didn't move too easy
