What is the VIN range......or do they just make that up as it suits them? My car is really disappointing at the moment....power loss, crap gear changes, vibrations in steering. Think it needs some serious software upgrades Crying or Very sad RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

have you had anything done, mine has starting to sound like it is not happy on on warm up over the last few weeks, the lag on accelaration seems to be getting worse, and power vs revs seems off as well. It was serviced in September and had a enhancement programme, broke down after 8 k's fixed but not overly happy since

Cheers

G'day Jim,

It's going in next week. They are replacing the torque converter as they think that is the prob that is causing all my other probs, particularly the crazy vibration through the steering.....we'll see. I have a fix list as long as my arm to give them.

The power in Std TR mode has dropped off, really need to kick it to get it up and going. Sometimes I go into Sand mode just to get some go out of it. I did have my gearbox adaptions reset a while ago which helped for a while, but the power has dropped off again. Again, they (LR) reckon it is the torque converter.

Will keep you updated on the outcome. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

Warranty and VEP stuff

I just called Hartwell in Northampton to have my car booked in for the VEP check and various others and to be honest, I'm pretty naffed off at theirs and Landrovers attitudes. I shall explain.

VEP Stuff - apparantly all has been done by Stratstone, my supplying dealer. OK, can live with that.

PTI upgrade for 6230i - not a warranty issue, they want to charge me £75 for the priviledge of having it made to work. Considering the poor number of phones you can get the cradle for, I don't think I'd bother and just stick to bluetooth from now on. What a waste of money. Anyone want to buy a 6230/i cradle!

Creaking rear tailgate:
They are happy to look at it but 'reminded' me that Landrover will not perform anything under the warranty after 12,000 miles for what he termed "adjustments and lubrications". So, once you have gone over 12,000 miles, if something breaks, it seems LR don't give a Censored about you or your car.

WHY WHY WHY do they have such a short term attitude towards their customers? The car is lovely to drive and if they just sorted out these issues FOC then we'd all be much happier customers willing to buy from them again.

I have never had anything refused on a BMW warranty, on cars with up to 60,000 miles on. Landrover are taking the p**s.

Crap alloys, crap customer service.

I'm really coming to the conclusion that I'd go for another brand next time. L319 D4 HSE

I had a problem with my bluetooth and my pti cradle for a 6230i it didnt work so i booked it in to Stafford L/R and they put the cradle right but they did say that i would have to pay for it as it was an up grade but i didnt i had it done under warranty. Does any cradle work in your car, if it doesnt then it needs to be put right and if that means you have a 6230i then you shouldnt have to pay.

My bluetooth still doesnt work and they cant find out why Exclamation some of my Previous cars

Echo all your points RRUK, LR don't give a $hit about their customers.

Would try another dealer though as some are certainly more 'flexible' than others
