TDV8 difference to SC?

Hi guys,

Apart from the obvious engine, what's the difference in specs, standard options, etc between a TDV8 and a SC 2008?

Depends what the spec of the car is. HSE spec tdv8 is gonna have most toys and Brembo brakes, the same as an SC. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Should say 3.6. Plenty out there that claim to HST but simply have body kits. Prestige Cars in Bradford have several but log books say SE or HSE. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I guess the HPI would say if it was a real HST. Apart from the front and rear bumpers, anything else different? Anything a HST should have etc?

Are 3.6 turbos that bad???? Been offered a 2006 SC but worried about fuel consumption and thinking 3.6 mapped would be better

Define blown turbo.

Blown the seals, or seized actuators? Big, Big difference

FWIW, I personally have seen 1 turbo collapse on an FFRR. After talking to the owner when it happened, it could probably be attributed to.driver abuse...

Seized actuators are fairly common, and can be undersized with a little time and patience
