Tow bracket options (retro-fit)

After getting a quote from the dealer last Friday I thought my £3k could do better things than add a tow hook on the back of a car.....

I'm back in the UK quite often so can get it done there but I assume the prices are still ridiculous ?

I've installed the last 3 on my Disco's (3 and 4) although as you may know it's only the electrics that needed to be added. Any DIY solutions for the RRS2 ?

It looks like a chasis extension kit plus the bracket itself, although appreciate as it's now electrically deployable then it will require more work.

Anyone ever get a price for the parts only ?

Popular topic I can see Laughing

OK had a look at the install guides on Topix and both Multi height and electric look like reasonable DIY installs, however you need to add the switches and get them activated by LR on the electric version so a bit more work but all possible.

Also seen some kits in the USA but this is a heavy kit to ship so that doesn't seem realistic so far.

Looks like a multi height LR kit is the current best option, will try to get a price from a friendly UK dealer.
