number plate

hi guys which rear number plate style do you think is best

1, The standard rectangular.

2, The rear that's shaped into the tailgate.

3, The standard rectangular one but larger

I have number 1 but not sure if its too small, opinions please

I had shaped on the last RRS but have the large rectangle now and think it's ok - the normal rectangle looks lost Confused

I was going to get a smaller than normal plate made as my private plate has 5 characters. (Standard size letter cut with the excess cut off)

I think short number plates look lost of full size plate though:

The one you want is rectangular and dealers call it a one and a half plate.

I have just fitted the shaped type which i think looks good with the shaped rear of the tailgate, i have a 4 / 3 character number so it fills the plate quite well.... don't have a picture to hand or i would have posted. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!

I am about to put a number on my car and read up here on this, and the oversize rectangular rear plate seems the way to go.

I got mine from Duckworths. Not expensive.

Standard sized Euro plate

I think the big ones look too "loud" and in your face but I also think the standard size plate needs to be placed correctly, as in not too high up in the area.
