Osmosis Begins

Just for BK as i know he is a fan of modified Sports and large houses, i am going to post some pictures
over the following week as the vehicle transforms from its original chelsea tractor look to something more
akin to taking on the Australian wilderness.. Today it was a gentle affair..

A set of General Grabber AT's all round and a set of Land Rover Rubber mats for the passenger and cargo areas
Laughing those pictures tomorrow..

I will also post a picture of my house in the Whitsundays to ensure BK is happy that the Sport has sufficient room
to move in its environment Laughing Whistle Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

I'm sure the low profile tyres fitted on 24s will be just the ticket for your Cape Trip!!?? By the way is your RAI snorkel thingy/bong sealed?

Have a great trip.. SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!
1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.
22 Defender D250 with lots of stuff for outback touring
Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

Jools yes, the local dealership assisted Opposite Lock on turning it from a RAI to a Snorkel if you get my drift,
so none of that good stuff escapes Laughing Thumbs Up Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

I wish I could have one of those front bumpers (minus the roo bar) here in the UK...

Looking good Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Looks like you have at least spent the $ on quality Zilchy. I like the winch and now it's a proper off road vehicle for the Cape Trip. Not pretty but classy in its own way and fit for purpose. Will you ever de mod it? Thumbs Up

Bk if it devalues from any future resale then I have the original front bar and trims to put it back
Into its original condition, as well as the side vent, however the snorkel does add some panache Laughing
Everything else is bolted underneath so out of sight

The roo bar may be a necessity on the trip, approx 8000 k's return from Sydney to the northern cape and back

I don't doubt it would be a necessity where you're going - it would be illegal in the UK however, hence why it would need to be removed. I like the idea of the winch bumper instead of the usual "winch on a cradle" out front. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

take a look at the G4 challenge Sports, they have the standard bumper with the winch fitted behind
so nearly out of sight, Mike_S on here has one, so check his galleries.. i do believe though LR have
a royalty on the winches and they are only available thru them.. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
