Hi guys, don't post much on here but I see that the site is very helpful when it comes to different situations. I am currently looking to buy a 2015 model RRS 3.0D Autobiography or a 3.0 HEV. Called 3 LR main dealers and have been offered between 31300 to 33500. I was wondering what sort of money I should really be expecting for it or what to do in order to get better money for it. It's a 61/2012 RRS Autobiography, Orkney grey with the pimento red and black interior. About 41k miles, full LR service history, it's got 1 previous owner (that being LR management) it's got most extras I.e. Dual view, remote park heating, privacy glass, side steps, mud flaps, etc just not sunroof and rear media as far as I am aware. So my question is are they giving a fair price in as px or not ?? They aren't willing to budge any higher which is something I'm not very happy about at the moment as I may have to consider buying my car later on in the year. i think you should be looking for a better deal .

Try another dealer. I think 40k + is a lot to find for a private buyer and the dealers know this. If they're offering say 5 or 6k less thank the px value then advise them that the car you're after is 5 or 6k to expensive. It's only figures and the cost to change is all that matters.

It appears the dealership part ex prices have become lower since the introduction of the 2 year approved warranty IMO

I just bought my 2012 HSE with 39k miles for £37k from a main dealer. As Peachy says they have had to put a 2 year unlimited warranty on it and prepped it for sale. For £40K or over I would have been looking for a low milage car (20,000 or even lower).
