Help 2005 RRS Wont start

Hi everyone,

Im new here but have been reading for quite a while.

Im from Australia and own a 2005 RRS TDV6

Bought the car second hand

Recently had issue with the car where i had the engine system fault and special programs messages come up on my dash while on my way to holiday's. Went into limp mode, so i got it to a Land rover dealership and they fixed the issues with replacing the ECU, Turbo and EGR valves.

All was well for a month or so then a couple weeks ago while at work i went to start the car to leave and nothing happened. I turn the key and get 'auto park brake fault' and 'HDC fault'. Hazards come on and wont turn off. Tried a new battery and still nothing. The engine doesnt even try to kick over. All windows etc work. My headunit will try to turn on but then will switch off again.

Its back at land rover now, they got a CAN BUS fault reading on their machine and they still cant figure out the issue. Checked all modules apparently and everything seems fine. Theyre checking all wiring but nothing yet.

Im sick of paying money out and having the car off the road.

If anyone can help with the issue that would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards

We've just had a D3 in with similar fault could'nt com with engine or trans. Fault was traced to a corroided canbus wire at the back of the car but I didn't do the job so carn't tell you any more, hope it might point you in where to look on the car.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Update-

Seems like land rover over here is just trying to take my money. Im taking it out of there and getting an independent auto electrician with over 20 years experience on these cars to check it out.

the conclusion they got was the abs module and theyre not sure if thatll fix it so ill be charged for that and then maybe the instrument pack aswell. How can all of these things fail at the same time along with my turbo, ecu, egr valves. Doesnt make sense!
