It really works VA! Anyone who has marks on their exterior vinyl use some smooth peanut butter on a cloth. It is great for getting any bodywork polish that the lovely dealers may have got on your vinyl Evil or Very Mad

Warning Exclamation

You do look a complete wally smearing your car with peanut butter though Embarassed and of course I have only tested this on humble D3 vinyl your 'high' grade RRS vinyl may react differently Embarassed ie it may say to you in a very posh voice "why are you putting peanut butter on me" as against the D3 which said "YUM".

PS I hate peanuts YUCK

To answer the original question with SOME decorum, I find the easiest way to get bugs and flies off the paint is to use the Meguiars Lambswool wash mitt, it has a reverse side for exactly that function and does not harm the paintwork.

Mine comes up looking like new every time. (Also helped by the Venture Shield film of course)

No paint wax treatment really lasts for years, if the car was garaged and under a nice blanket it might last but otherwise, no chance. L319 D4 HSE
