United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black
New RRS Sport

Hi
First post. Can you order massage seats on new Sport HSE. Car is not due untill October, but my new S Class Mercedes has them & I have them on all the time as they are fabulous, but the Mercedes had not arrived when I ordered the Sport so I did not think about it nor noticed them in brochure. Just spotted a post here where they were mentioned
Seems areally good forum. Looking forward to having a good look
Thanks

Style seven - 18 way powered seats with Memory, Front Seat Articulation and Massage

It's an option on the configurator, in the Seating tab of the Interior Options Section

I haven't spent much time on the configurator, honest Whistle

Think you have to get the rear seat entertainment as well though.

Your correct, the seats are about £1300, but you have to take sound upgrade & rear entertainment, totalling about £4800 Considering the back seats of my cars are never used, I dont think I shall bother. Don't understand why massage seats require the sound upgrade, unless they are noisy & you have to drown out the noise (don't go there)
Thanks anyway

It's just a way of selling more options and thus getting more profit.

A number of options are linked such that choosing the option you want adds others that you don't want at an additional cost that you don't want to pay.

In fairness to LR, they're not the only ones who do this - just about every manufacturer does it to some degree. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I clearly had never pressed add to see that message - learn something new everyday!

If as RRSTDV8 says it is a way of getting more money out of folks through "options bundling", one has to wonder how many customers do not bother at all when they are only presented with this combination? Clearly chicb will not be paying the 1300 extra for the seats (or can't pay) so ultimately LR lose out altogether?? Seems a bit daft to me.
