Gvif fitting

Have just purchased a rrs tdv8 58 plate and what to install a gvif , I know this question will have been asked lots of times but do they just plug and play at the sat nav screen end ? And is that it ? Also does anyone do installs in the north west area if so how much ? Cheers loving this site already

It is fitted to the sat nav unit under the passenger front seat. If you plan on using a reversing camera then you will need a feed from a reversing light as well as a live and a ground connection MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

I'm really keen to do this too - are the X-CarLink Gvif units on eBay for about £220 OK or are there better options?

I'm basically looking to install a reversing camera on my 2005 RRS and have the video fed to the satnav screen - I really miss this feature from my previous car.
