Hi All. I have just fitted a reversing camera multimedia interface in my range rover sport. All seems wired up ok, but it does not switch from camera back to sat nav automatically when I put it in drive, I have also fitted a switch so I can have camera on whilst in drive. I can manually using the switch go from camera to satnav but not automatically when going from reverse to drive. What have I done wrong or not done?? All help appreciated.

I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Camera replaced number plate light run wire down to rear light picked up live feed from reverse light switch came with kit just plugs in thanks.

Sorry I did not get back earlier.

I suspect the problem is with the switch set up.

If I understand correctly the following happens.

- You are in nav, you select reverse, the screen switches automatically to the rear camera. You then select drive but the screen remains on the rear camera.

- You are in nav, you manually select the camera with the switch, screen goes to rear camera, you select the switch to off, screen reverts to nav. '08 RRS TDV8
