United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Paint Question

Can anyone tell me the difference between zambezi and zermatt silver?
Did land rover actually produce a sport in both these silver colours or was it just the zermatt?
Looking forward to replies. Thanks

There is a paint code if you wanted to see which one it was, I don't follow colours that closely but manufacturers always tweak colours based on other issues. Mike

Yes LR did produce the RRS in both colours. Zambezi was offered from launch until 2007, which was then replaced by Zermatt silver.

Their is not much of a difference between the two colours, although zermatt has a very slight blue shade compared to Zambezi silver. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

And the other point around colour switches - if you buy a car that was not registered but already built, you could have the earlier colour on a later plate...so don't go just on age. Mike

I always take my cars to a local paint supplier, he has a machine (cant think what its called) they hold onto the paint it it tells them the code and mix. (if say painting a bonnet you can check both wings are they same shade)

Spectrometer. Thumbs Up

We use them in our workshop to match odd-ball trucks that have been custom painted. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜
