I've got a Blackview fitted too. Extremely good quality image & GPS/google map tracking too. Thankfully not had to use it in anger as yet but for $250-odd (bought it in the states), it's good piece of mind if there's ever an accident dispute - unless of course I'm in the wrong in which case the footage may disappear!! SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

Did you fit it yourself Dickie? Hardwired or through the cigarette lighter?

Fitted myself and fairly happy with how it looks. I just use the centre armrest cigarette lighter socket, the black wire then routes out of the top box and down the side of the passenger seat. I then tacked the wire underneath the passenger seat and then across into and underneath the trim on the door (B?) pillar. It then just pushed into the gap between trims up the pillar and along the headliner/windscreen to just behind the rearview mirror.

It was never going to be a permanent fit for me as I tend to change my car every year - and got a Supercharged on order! If being really fussy you can just about see 3-4 inches of black wire running out the side of the armrest box down the side of the seat bolster, and if really fussy you may notice the wire crossing from the bottom of the seat to the B pillar at foot level. For me it's something I can tolerate for such a simple fit. Took me all of about 10-15mins to do as didn't have to remove any trim, simply pushed the wire into the existing gap with a plastic screwdriver-type-thing. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR
