Scripting Error

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd let you know. Not sure if it's my computer or the website but there seems to be a scripting error when trying to post comments or start new threads.

I get the following pop up which if you press continue pops up again and then it seems to work:

"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquer...js:3"

Cheers

Thanks Guy. What browser and operating system are you using?

If others see this too please let me know.

Hi Martin,

Ok I get the scripting error message when using Firefox Mozilla, however, like I mentioned above if you press "Continue" twice on the pop up then you can respond to threads and upload photos.

In more detail when I click on the "reply" button, or "new post" button the script error message pops up and I have to click on continue twice to be able to proceed. Then the same happens again when trying to upload images to post. Everything works until it states "Adding to Album" below the "choose Photos" button. At this point I have to click "continue" twice then the selected photos appear and everything is normal again... Just realised it also occurs when I click "Preview"

Using Google Chrome I can respond to threads immediately without the scripting error message appearing, however, whilst it says uploading images and states it as completed I get the following showing where the pictures should be:

Hope this helps

Cheers

Martin,

Missed the bit about which OS Embarassed I'm using Windows 7 Professional. I've tried on my Sony Xperia which is running Android 4.3 and there are no issues everything works fine.

I'll check at home on my laptop and tablet, and see how things go there.

Cheers

Hello Guy,

Any chance you could let me know which version of Firefox you are experiencing the problem on? Firefox button (top left), then Help > About.

Also for Chrome with the "Add to post" problem - from three-horizontal lines button at top right, then About Google Chrome from the drop-down menu.

I can't currently replicate the issues you are seeing Confused Sad Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Morning Martin,

Not sure if you found something on this, because I've just tried both Chrome and Firefox browsers at work just now and they are working fine Thumbs Up

Just for reference I'm using Firefox 27.0.1 and Chrome 32.0.1700.107m.

Regards
