Decided to stay with the se I ordered in October , I had to have the confirmation in today for hopefully a May build and early June delivery this is what I have included corris grey , santorini roof , pan roof , front fog lamps , 20" alloys , style 3 seats , power steering column , heated wheel, tread plates , privacy , elec tow bar , mood lighting , cirrus and ebony interior

Does that work out a lot less than an equivalent HSE ??

Hi Gavin , yes just short of 7k my current BE has a very high spec and to be honest I don't use most of the toys the idea with the se I could just choose what I wanted and save some cash , dealer just phoned with build date 13/6

I was looking at the SE as a replacement for my old Sport, but was told last year I would have to wait a year so held off.

Then LR said they wouldn't be taking orders for the SE but I didn't want an HSE as I think it's overpriced at £60k before you add any extras on

Went to my local Porsche dealer on Saturday and walked out having placed a deposit on a Cayenne. Build will be in May, delivery in June. Also bought a Boxster because mine's getting a bit old

The dealer says they are getting a lot of LR customers switching to Porsche

Shame as I have had a Disco or RRS for the last 10 years but if they are selling them faster than they can make them, best of luck to them
