I'm not sure this car uses any fuel

Amazingly I'm getting almost 30mpg in this thing pottering around town. Tracker has a cool feature that allows the user to login and check virtually anything and everything to do with each journey undertaken.

It seems 90% of my driving is 30mph and under, which is probably par for the course for most town drivers.
Will probably go on a motorway stint in a few weeks and report the MPG.

Compare that to the 18mpg I'm getting for the same journeys with my Evoque.

If I upgrade the Evoque to another RRS it will probably pay for itself in fuel economy difference by.................... 2180 Laughing

Seriously fed up with the Evoque, not that I drive it that much anymore since I pinch the RRS from Mrs Senna every chance I get Mr. Green Current...

Hi Senna,

What tracker did you have fitted? I need to have one fitted for my insurance company within the next few days.

Thanks

Yes, I'm getting 32.8mpg on mixed driving with minimal motorway use. My best on a long run is 38mpg! This is about 20% better than the equivalent X5 which I had previously. Regards

Malcolm

Hi Gavin,
I did quite a bit of research before I had mine fitted.

In the end I went with Tracker Locate.......more info here,

IMHO and experience - The ideal combination: A Tracker device but someone else to buy it from.

Very impressed by the economy. Been up to Skye a couple of times (mixed A road quality) and down to Leeds and on all journeys it averages 42mpg. Not even just on the optimistic dash display - the Skye run in the Disco used to be a tank and a quarter or so - 100 litres. On the RRS we get there and back and a good bit of running around on less than a tank - Say 65 litres. Its about a 400 mile journey so I am well impressed.

Only beaten for economy now by my 10 year old Punto!

I do urban and suburban driving with my X6, journeys under 8 miles, I get 31mpg which I think is very good from a twin turbo diesel.

Hope you are not basing MPG on the on-board lie-o-meter ! 2014 5.0SC AB

Gone 5.0 SC

I'm not getting anything like that (on average at least)...
- best run ever - according to the lie-o-meter is 37 mpg on a 60m run at 80 mph....

But most of the time on the same run its about 34mpg on the motorway.

Must be mid twenties in town. 2022 P440e AB

Real MPG on the tank to tank measurement is about 5-6 MPG less than the LOM on the SDV6 2014 5.0SC AB

Gone 5.0 SC
