2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
RRS2 service intervals

Anyone know the service intervals for the new sport SDV6?

Is it still every 12 months or so many miles whichever comes sooner or have they updated the engine management system sufficiently to allow the motor to decide dependent on your driving style?

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up Stu

Not sure, but I can't see anyone NOT taking up the rather cheap 5 year servicing pack, so it sort of makes it irrelevant Wink ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Hi Stu,

On the 14MY RRS in the UK, the service interval is 16,000 miles or 12 months, whichever occurs first. The Service message should illuminate on the vehicle when it is required.

Many thanks,

Thanks Pete Thumbs Up

As BC says the service pack appears to be a great deal. Is it just service labour and consumables or does it also include wear & tear items like brake pads? Stu

Hi Stu,

The service packs that are now being offered are a very good deal. However they do not cover wear and tear items.

For more information of what is included please follow this link:

Dear Pete,
Service Pack looks a good deal indeed. Does it work irrespective of your place of residence (i.e. I get my service pack in JLR UK and then I move to Belgium or anywhere else)? thanks in advance.
Cheers
Víctor

Hi Victor,

The service pack does not transfer across markets unfortunately. So if taken out in the UK, the customer card that you would receive would be eligible for UK Land Rover dealerships only.

For any specific enquiries regarding the Service Pack, please contact 0844 742 21 21 or visit your Land Rover dealer.

Hi Pete.

The service pack outline covers "check/top up brake fluid" periodically. Should this not be changed every 2 years just as the oils does very year - neither are wear and tear items? This should be part of a routine service even though the pads/discs may need done from time to time. Can you check with JLR what the position is with changing brake fluid.

Thanks

Alex

Hi Alex,

Replacement of brake fluid is currently recommended every 3 years. However, on each service the brake fluid levels should be checked and topped up if required.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the prompt response Pete. Will that then form part of the 36 month service under the agreement?
