United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Whatever Next?

Whilst i was dropping my sport off for its second service, my serviced manager warned me of what the thieving scumbags are upto now Shocked and advised me to be careful where i park my sport around west yorkshire. Whistle
A guy went to the gym at the Holiday Inn at Brighouse at 1.0 pm. He owns a 2012 RRS SDV6. He came out about an hour later to find his window smashed, both his headlights and his front grill missing. Twisted Evil £3500 later they then did the same thing again a week later but this time at his home. Censored Censored So just be careful where you guys leave your motors. This is getting beyond belief the lengths these scumbags will go to. Whistle

That's terrible. The one I couldn't believe was a guy on here who had his sunroof stolen!

Supply and Demand! Scumbags steal and scumbags buy Evil or Very Mad one mans bargain is another's loss Twisted Evil I fear it is only going to get worse as the RRS gets older it is falling into the affordable price range of people who will turn a blind eye to where parts are sourced as long as they are getting a 'bargain'.

It is ironic that as LR have upgraded the models superficially with interchangeable parts they have made them the target of thieves who can see an easy target and a willing market. Makes me glad I paid a fortune to 'upgrade' to an MY2014, at least the easily removed parts are not compatible with the older models that are now within the price range of the less discerning owners who will buy cheap stolen parts Shocked

RRS 1 owners now need security screws on all removable parts, a sad indictment of the world we live in today. MY 2014 HSE Dynamic
MY 2012 RRS HSE
2009 Audi A6 Avant- superb quality but boring never missed
2007 Q7 -loved it but not a patch on RRS
Various BMW's, Audis
199 TD5 Disco XS, great car big improvement on previous Disco
1981 Fiat Mirafiori Sport 2000 TC - Bright Orange and Black, great Car when new but soon deteriorated, those were the days

Really quite shocking, from my lounge windows I overlook said holiday inn, awful.
But it's a quick getaway to the m62, sad, no CCTV?
