Karting is great fun, but not inexpensive.

I went to the Daytona circuit at Sandown the other day. Excellent fun (twin engined karts that can get to 70mph, a 900m outdoor circuit). 60 quid for an hour. With 15 people they open the full circuit, and run a 10 minute qualifying session to get the grid position, a 15 minute race and a 20 minute race. Aggregate points are taken.

Karting lost its appeal for me at about 15 - anyone from 10 upwards can go karting, there are more fun things to do as a grown up Cool

It is cheap though.. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Idea A group visit to an organised trackday would be inexpensive.

You might even be to hire track cars from the circuit - would allow all the scaredy cats to come as well Laughing Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
