Dripping from the boot?

Is it normal having water dripping from the "boot close"-button surrounding?

It usually drips from the rubber knobs on both sides of the boot but it has started to drip form the middle as well making it hard not getting wet when accessing things in the boot.

I uploaded a picture of this in my gallery!

Mine certainly does not drip from there. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I did a previous post on this. Don't ignore it. It's a problem with a trim seal which they get at from the inside.
It can cause electrical problems if left to build up.

Not on the outside. It was somewhere inside the lower tailgate panel..just take it to the dealer, they sorted it fairly quickly.

I had exactly the same problem and they fixed it last week.

The water comes from the tailgate trim above the license plate.
It finds the way thru the openings for the clips and they just remove the trim and fix it back with silicone to solve it.

Newer models got an updated design/seal for this trim openings.
