Now pay attention, 007. Two cars to find, and three superchargers. DB9 is 'just' a V12.

The DB9 is a lovely car. My Mum, at the grand old age of 70, has just bought one.

Driving up the M40 and M42 the other day, though, I did notice a lot of looks at the HST from passers by. Whether they were pointing and saying "Wow, look at that", or "Eurh, look at that" I don't know. The Sport is great fun. Will depreciate like a rocket - trim level is nothing compared to a Range Rover but not that cheaper when new, and they fall fast. But hey, you're a long time dead.

This car is now my daily drive.

Friday quiz - I now have three cars, with a total of four superchargers. What are they?

VA - will be at Brooklands for the Aston meeting on the Sunday (24th?) - can't make the Saturday. I'll be there in a Vantage (see - close to Vintage Confused ) - a Silver Le Mans (600 BHP, 600 lf ft, Shocked ). For those that haven't worked it out yet, the other car is an i6 DB7 (the first DB7s had supercharged Jag engines made by TWR). Anyone interested can see them on www.aston-db7.com and www.aston-lemans.com.

Cliff - Very Happy I do like a good polish Wink One of my cars is actually stored in Old Dalby - not far from you.

Enough of those, let's talk RRS. The HST is great fun. Sounds great. The DSC orange warning light came on today, but then went off again after 30 seconds or so. Enjoy the difference in throttle and gearbox behaviour between normal and Sport modes. Particularly like the way the engine matches the revs on change down in Sport mode.

Lots of questions - are the rear headphones wireless as in the RR Vogue, or do they have to be plugged in the side sockets? Can you drive two headphones successfully from one socket? What's the story on "running in"?

And why do 20" wheels look so small? Smile

Your present wireless headphones will not work in the RRS! Crying or Very sad Not sure about running 2 sets off one socket but at a guess output would be half on each. Might pop down on the 24th to have a look. WINNER - 2008 Outstanding Contribution

You're a very lucky man, Phil.... Bow down and I have to say, it's the first HST I don't plain dislike. It obviously works better in the grey Smile
