2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red
Forum Glossary

The idea is originated in this thread: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic3480.html?highlight=

What do you think if we compile/write a glossary section for this forum.

A good starting point is what VA (Very Annoying Very Happy ) wrote in the thread above, which, honestly didn't understand a word of it. Here's a quote:

"...D3 Forums HTB LAT that I have seen! As for the cars the ECU, ETI and PDI..".

Can you help decipher the tech talk above.

So far I learned one term. FFRR= Full Fat Range Rover.

Care to chip in?

Between Martin, RRUK, Shmoogle and VA we can keep this neat by editing and deleting.

Edit: Have taken Martin's suggestion and moved all into the initial post.

Quote:
RRS - Range Rover Sport
D3 - Discovery 3 or www.disco3.co.uk
LR3 - Discovery 3 (USA)
FFRR - Full Fat Range Rover
LR2 - Freelander 2
ECU = Electronic Control Unit.
PDC = Parking Distance Control
Hi ICE (ICE = In Car Entertainment)
- harman/kardon system
- 8 speakers
- Passive Subwoofer
- Audio Amplifier
- 6 CD Auto Changer (In Dash)

Again, how about if we start with VA's quote:

""...D3 Forums HTB LAT that I have seen! As for the cars the ECU, ETI and PDI.."."

So, D3 = Discovery 3. What about the rest.

What we can do is get all the suggestions, and then edit the first post (yours aam1234) to maintain a single list Very Happy Martin

What's the difference between D3 and LR3. Are they different names for different markets. Also, I thought D3 no longer exist, it's been changed to LR3. Anybody can enlighten me/us.

Thanks
