Anti-theft device?

Have any owners come across the doors locking and being unable to unlock them from the inside or outside? My S/C has just developed a new fault! Crying or Very sad

Check the other key - it might be that the key you're using isn't charging up for some reason. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Caz try this - I found it on D3

'I found a work around, by pulling the small black unlock leaver on the door (inside), and at the same time pressing the unlock button on the dash board. This would make the leaver stay in the unlocked position.

Unfortunately because of the autolock feature when driving you have to do this every time you want to get out of the car. The strange thing is that it has now fixed itself, after doing this unlock trick several times.'

The thread is this - http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic3376.html?highlight=

Door lock update!

Well I had an interesting visit to my local dealership this morning to replace door lock. Said it would take just over an hour, so after telling me they couldn't provide me with a courtesy Freelander!!! I waited. After 50 mins I went to look through the viewing window to see if they were nearly finished....no! The 'technician', I use the term very loosely was stood there trying to force the back door open...........quick sprint across to the service desk, I asked if I could open the door for them. Went into the workshop, which is out of bounds to the public, health and safety issues!! followed your instructions ....door opens....mouths drop open....Had to wait another hour. Mad
