Problem with 2009 RRS TDV8

Hi There,

I have a strange problem on my RRS TDV8.

When I am driving on the motorway or short distances the following happens:

I would accelerate hard or soft, and get like a jerking feel (very noticeable), I would release the accelerator and re-accelerate, then it would be accelerating fine.
This is intermittent, but happening 3 our of 4 times....
It feels like the RRS is not getting fuel or misfiring or something (not a technical expert lol).
And its definitely down on power as my wife's Audi A1 1.4T kills the RRS.

Can anybody please share your thoughts and suggestions?

I have had the car at the dealers and they reckon the computer says nothing is wrong with it.

Thanks !!

I'd be checking for mucky fuel and fuel filter, then it that's OK fuel pump pressure, if still OK then return fuel line.

check if the intake piping is still OK and not cracked.
especially on the highway the TDV8 should be quicker than the A1 although it might feel the other way around.

Fuel pressure issues I would of thought would raise an error code?

gearbox flush possibly?

^^^ Paul, you could be right but, I was wondering whether it may only show up under high flow conditions rather than at the time the technician has his box of trick connected.
