Weird judder and jerking under acceleration?!?

Hi all!! I drive a Sport 2.7 Tdv6 and have owned it for about 6 months now. I seem to be having an almost 'jerk' like movement whilst accelerating followed by a short judder. Whilst 'jerking' i also hear a 'rasping' sound from underneath the car which is in sync with the jerking. Engine was changed at 110k miles and now the car has 115k miles. A specialist plugged it onto the computer and nothing came up apart from the EGR valve being completely dead. After changing this (cost me £300) the car drove better for a while but still seems to judder and jerk around 1500rpm at times. Also when coming to a halt at the traffic light i sometimes notice a thump as if the car is changing from 2nd to 1st ( don't know if that helps). Has anyone experienced this before or can anyone give me any suggestions please? would be much appreciated!?!? Otherwise its off to the dreaded main dealers Thud

P.s Car is due for a service now so will be having that done on Friday by a Franchised Dealer.

I had the same proble. Gear box flush + new torque converter and the problem is gone taking a couple of grand with it.

Try and get some Dr Tranny additive for the gearbox. It's not expensive and is a good way of checking that you need the transmission fluid changing.
Better than paying for the fluid change and finding the problem is still there Thumbs Up
