CHECKING WHEEL alignment

My rear tyres are showing bad wear after 15,000 miles of carful driving. To have the geometry checked is it advisable to go to a Land Rover Dealer or is it something a good tyre supplier could carry our? If so I go to a type supplier, what equipment should I make sure they have to to the job properly. Andrew Kennedy

Make sure whoever does it is able to put the vehicle in to "tight tolerance" mode. You can do the alignment in "normal mode" but it's not as accurate and might introduce poor geometry. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
