Do the Rear Seats Fold Flat

I don't suppose they do but I was wondering whether the rear seats in the new RRS fold down to form a flat load space? Mark

With a bit of load on, not far from flat.

By not folding the seat bit up it does make the load bed a bit longer though.

Thank you, missed that thread. It's a pity because a flat loadspace would be useful. Looks like this compromise will squash the hell out of the read seats if you load it up with, say, wine.

Do have the feeling that for such an enormous car, it's not especially spacious inside. Mark

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

It's the one thing which I really miss from my last model....

The fact that I could lift the base of the rear seats could stow a load of stuff underneath it, as well as fold my rear seats flat was such an addition.

The new one gets about 20degreesrom flat, but it's just not comparable.

For the interior of the new model to be more spacious, I find I can store less crap, which is not a bad thing in some ways, but frustrating in others....... Still, that's the only thing I miss, and the number of pros far outweighs the cons MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

I visited my dealer to check the load/folding situation on a 5seater. It's a mess and no way to understand in any kind!
Do they have engineers working on a new model or just designers?

Our second car is the Audi A5 convertible which offers full flat folding rear seats! So it's not a question of room for a specific construction, it's a question of investing brain...
