Strange Symbol in Driver Information Centre

My wife was driving the RRS in horrible weather conditions yesterday - a lot of rain, wind and surface water. She was doing 30-40 mph on a dual carriage way in heavy traffic.

She says there was a bong and a picture of what looked like "2 tyres joined together with a line" appeared on the dashboard between the speedo and rev counter. She says it diasppeared quite quickly.

There are no residual warnings - so I have no idea what this meant. Can anyone enlighten me? ---------------------------

Traction control light would be my guess, especially if you Mrs was driving through a lot of standing water.

See if she recognises the symbol on this picture. Laughing

Stangely....it is none of the above.

She tells me that it wasn't an 'idiot light' it was a 'big' picture in area where the navigation diagrams appear between the rev counter and speedo. ---------------------------

Yes, probably the frond wheel alignment display, it shows when the front wheels are slipping to show which direction they are pointing.
Shows up on the lcd display in the instrument cluster.
I have seen it doing off-road.

Cannot find a picture '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

It is the wheel allignment display - it came on again as she was reversing off the drive.

Why would it be showing under 'normal' driving conditions? ---------------------------

Yay I was right Laughing

Under normal condition though it should not show up, unless you have a terrain response program selected
