Hello,

I need help with my RRS 3.6 TDV8 which keeps displaying Engine system fault, Parking break fault and low suspension mode. When accelerating the car is very slow and won't go above 3000 Tr/m or 50MPH. I have changed the high pressure fuel pump, the fuel rail pressure sensor, the 8 injectors, the intank fuel pump, the mass air flow and the filters (oil, fuel and air). I am still having the problems. When diagnosed the fault code I am getting is P0088- Fuel rail/system pressure- too high. I really don't know what to do anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Cheick

Check PDF files attached in my gallery for P0088-00

According to these manuals I would start on fuel rail pressure sensor wiring, sensor.

Hi this is my first post as I have just bought a 2008 RRS TDV8 with 200 000 kilometers on it. I am getting the Engine System Fault warning coming up and it goes into limp mode. I restart the engine and it goes out of limp mode but is lower on power. What can this be? Please help. Regards Chris

The first thing would be get the codes read to at least see what the car thinks is wrong with it, failing that the usual suspects are top intercooler hoses split, turbo actuators sticking, brake light switch or the bulbs faulty or cheap Thumbs Up Clickadeeclick

My engine system fault was cured by two new turbo hoses.
