Fear not, according to the brochure, what the £185 buys you is auto-dimming - the standard mirrors are described as "Power adjustable heated power fold exterior mirrors with approach lamps and memory".

The auto-dimming is what comes as standard for the interior rear view mirror - the glass darkens in response to light coming from behind.

It's interesting to think of the amount of stuff there will be in the mirrors if, in addition, you go for blind spot monitoring, wade sensor and surround cameras - a replacement mirror after it makes contact with a white transit van being driven as only they are is going to be big money! Mark

Thanks Mark. Brochure's a bit confusing if you ask me. Really not bothered about auto dimming so hope it cant be added now! Rather spend the money on a nice meal out! Laughing

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Nara Bronze

I'm confused, everyone seems to be getting earlier build dates with a 2 week build time, yet my build date is now 6 weeks late with a 6 week build time. Not happy at the moment! Evil or Very Mad 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6

Ok the latest update is now in to build 14 March and we have a reg number. Ordered 4th December.

These things are flying off the production line every couple of mins and take 14 hours in total, if our friend that went for a visit can be believed.

Can't wait.

seems to be no rhyme or reason to build dates. I ordered early sept, build date 14 march, car pick up scheduled for 14 April. Dealer had said he hoped for sooner but that is now unlikely. He has also told me they are taking orders now for sept/oct delivery. Seems 6 months is the reality depending on model and extras (pan roof in particular) 2010 997 Carrera S

Car is now finished build and is waiting hand over to sales/dispatch. That's another 2 days early.

So deliver to dealer pdi and dealer fit bits. So end of next week or early the week after. Very Happy

Both if possible! It's nice to see them side by side, I was lucky to get a few shots with the RRS and Fl2 together. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Am I right in saying you have a D2? My dad had one, loved it. I don't know what possessed him to sell it and buy and Audi. Rolling Eyes Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Yes Chris a 2002 build TD5 XS, active roll bars etc.

Tuned by JE to around 200 hp. Goes so much better, updated brakes and Koni gas shocks.

It is fun to drive x country for its size, the torque in 4th is great.

Got in new as an import so saved 6 k.

Sad to see it go though.
