Just got a build date for middle of Feb for 1st March delivery Shocked
Thought it was going to be May / June; well that's what I was told when I ordered.
Salesman said that they'd been given more build allocations because of the amount of orders they'd had.......
My concern is will I get a MY 14 and not a MY 14.5 if I accept this delivery date? ( I dont have to according to my salesman )
Any ideas chaps??

I believe that production for the MY14.5 has already begun. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:
2014 RRS2 SDV6 HSE in Loire Blue
2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black

Thanks for the info guys.
So if I decide to go for MY15 now, when do you reckon I can expect delivery? If its only a couple more months I think I'll wait.

The MY15 will possibly be announced March/April, with September onwards delivery. However, with deliveries currently taking 7 - 8 months you may have to swap the order now to be close to the start.

I'll have to decide this week as I have to tell my salesman if I want the car for 1st March.
I had it in my head that delivery would be May / June so if I was told I'd definitely get a MY15 for September delivery I'would wait.
But I could have the car in 5 weeks albeit MY 14.5.
But when I ordered that's what I thought I'd be getting anyway!!
And If I hadn't been on this forum I would have just been really pleased to be getting it early and wouldn't even have thought about MY15!! Laughing

Well just had an email from my dealer and our dates have come forward by a month.

So 18 Feb last build spec change, 24 March factory completion. Pick it up some time after that.

It's getting close! Very Happy

I'm currently the week after you in build - Feb 12th for final spec, March 18th into build, March 30th at dealers - however, I may put the order back into the pool depending on InControl.

Well my build date is 18 Feb so looks like I'll be a picking up on March 1st !
Have decided not to wait for MY15 as it would be another six months until delivery..........!
Did ask my dealer if i could add something to my order, which he is going to try and do, but I may have left it too late. Its not a deal breaker though so I wont be too disappointed if it cant be added.
I reckon the next five weeks is going to feel longer than the last five months Laughing

Memory mirrors. Cant believe they're not standard but cost another £185 !!
I should have read the spec a little more carefully !!
As my wife and I will both be driving it, it makes life a little bit easier when swapping drivers.
Car I've got now hasn't got memory seats or mirrors and I cant believe how much it bugs me after having it in the last few cars I've had.
