Ahhh...a dyno....well I've used 3 dyno with 3 different Supercharged cars and not one of them got above 365 on any 'run'

I suspect that the dyno figures have been manipulated to suit.....anyway is Russian petrol as good quality as here in the UK...anyone know??

I wonder if JE have any dyno info they could share or Turbochip? Smile Chips with everything

I use 98 octane. Though the dealer recomends using 95 octane. Maybe that's the case? I will run dyno in some other place after installing exhaust system + ECU controller and see what happens. 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500

Turns out so did I - was waiting here when I got home.

The way I read it, it's talking like the supercharger in the SC is "a modified Eaton supercharger" and not actually anything over and above what normally gets shipped.

Will be taking up the offer though... has anyone rung the number yet? Is it just a trip to the dealer?

I got one too.

PIKEY IN A SC ALERT Laughing Laughing

Phoned them yesterday. It is done through dealers and you can choose which one you want to go to.

You give them your life history over the phone and then the dealer of your choice will be in touch.

Don't know if it is 15 mins with the salesman or a day on your own (should have asked!)

Will phone later... I'm not really interested in 15 min tootle round the block from the dealers. If it's a day or half-day I'll be there though... will have to calculate how far away from the dealer I can go without having to pay for any petrol myself. 15 min trip round the block it is then Laughing

I think LR would be pleased to see a sport doing what it was built to do. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Anyone heard anything back about this yet?
I spoke to the dealer that I had nominated (I called them about something else so asked at the same time)
They were very helpful but they are not going to be running a SC demo anymore as the last one was costing them too much.

They said that people were bringing them back with the tanks near enough dry (they put £30) and the cars were really being thrashed, "really" I said, "can't imagine someone thrashing a SC on a test drive". Wink Twisted Evil

They went on to say that LR had sent out the letters without informing the dealers.

Have phoned LR again to try another dealer (really stroppy mare on the phone) will see what happens but I think it may be the same response, or no response at all could be more to the point!

£30 - that'll last 10 minutes then!

Cliff very interesting don't you love it when a well organised marketing plan goes belly up. Rolling with laughter 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
