Cambelt Question

Hi All,

I've seen the RRS for me, TDV6 58 plate, HSE, black with ivory interior and FLSH on 59k miles. The dealer insists the cambelts don't need to be changed until 102k miles and I wondered if this was indeed true or he was blagging it.
He's also offering 3 year warranty for extra £1k, with fixed labour cost of £72 per hour ex vat.

Thanks,
Dylan

The cambelt must be changed at 105000 miles or on its 7th birthday. Whichever comes first. Any longer and you are seriously risking destroying your engine. Check the small print of the warranty. Thats a good price for a 3 year warranty if it covers all major components. Some warranties arn't worth the paper they are written on so check it out before paying 1k for it. Thumbs Up
