Just had a detail done on our 57 plate sport, came back looking great but detailer noticed a bubble spot on both rear doors, both in the same place

I can only say it is 5" in from the curve of the rear door arch and about 5" up from the rub strip - where it looks like there is a dimple, on the inside of the rear door it is almost directly in line with a rubber grommet bump stop that is there

I've owned enough landies of various descriptions to know about rust, but wasn't expecting it where it is on a 6yr old sport, or am I looking through rosé tinted glasses ?

Anyone else had this ?

Very unusual. I know full fats suffer on tail gates but not heard of Sport body panels suffering. Apart from a worryingly rusty underfloor mine had a very small bubble on left hand front arch where there was a rubber seal that wasn't replaced in one of many body removals. It was covered under body guarantee and seal was replaced. In your case I wonder if there is corresponding abrasion on inside of the door from say a wiring loom rubbing or window regulator fouling. It will be covered by guarantee anyway. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I've got this on both rear doors, since 4 years old. Been to 2 different dealers and neither would look at a warranty claim. 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6
