England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Superguard

Hi all

I have been offered Superguard paint protection free of charge on my new car.

Previously I have never taken this as an option as I have always used a good quality wax. I don't really know that much about it but I'm worried that if is applied poorly it will notice.

Has anyone had any experience of Superguard/Pureguard?

Jim

It's something that I would never pay for but mine was also offered FOC when we got to the end of negotiations on discounts etc.

Since it was clear that i had exhausted all of the dealers options i took them up on the offer

It looks ok and finish still shines & beads well after 6 months although I suspect I will be polishing it after the winter (unless the latest technology proves me wrong in my scepticism on real durability)

If it's free, then take it, it's better than nothing. Smile

If they are charging you and you are willing to pay the money, then personally I'd get a local detailer to do a pre delivery protection detail and put a glass coat type product (GTechniq C1, CQuartz, etc) on. Will last longer and I think you'll be far happier with the results Wink Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
