But you are considering the TDV6 which is different in the way that its got 6 gears and 10 bhp less than the SDV6 but its still an effortless nice drive. The V8 has more grunt with a nice exhaust note. You really need to arrange a test drive of both the TDV6 & the TDV8. Where abouts in Yorkshire are you? | ||

 If not, then go and have a test drive, then make your own mind up. TBH the newer interior alone makes it worth the extra £££'s imo.  I wouldn't like to think that i was buying a cheaper sport only to have to throw a load of money at it just to keep it on the road due to it failing one way or another.

However, you just might get a reliable TDV8.
  However, you just might get a reliable TDV8.   Its luck of the draw.  Having said that, i have no evidence how reliable the 3.0L TDV6 is just yet as they are only around 3 years old.
