Stunning! Grown on me a lot recently....from totally hating it.

Having second thoughts about parting with £40K for a Q7 now, but will be at least 2 years until these are affordable Big Cry LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

I wasn't keen on the styling on the new RRS until I saw it in the flesh. I then fell head over heels for it and can't wait for mine to arrive next year! Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:
2014 RRS2 SDV6 HSE in Loire Blue
2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black

I suppose I am used to the slightly tapered rear-end after living with the Evoque compared to the squared-off end of the older car. I think the new car looks more lithe than the old one which looks, to my eye, a bit of bruiser.

The Chilli doesn't do it for me. My salesman was all excited about it but even on my calibrated monitor, I don't think these pictures are accurate - will depend on what the lighting was like. To my eyes, Chilli is more a slightly burned orange and a step beyond the Firenze Red which I am going for and even that is sticking my neck out a bit on a car this big. I hope to see one before I sign on the dotted line - off to visit Solihull in a couple of weeks so hopefully I will be able to see them in the metal. Mark

It was due out 1st Quarter 2014 but has been delayed following a "re-design" as it was deemed too aggressive.

From what I've read it will be out 1st Quarter 2015 now.

Off topic, but here's the links for anyone interested:

Anyone can go on it - costs £45 - you just call the LR Customer Centre in Solihull. I did the same in Halewood and it was an interesting visit. Mark
