Transmission Fault & HDC Unavailable

Got this message on car today... it lowered the suspension etc... Switched car off and back on and error was still there did it again and error was gone... should I be worried or it's a common problem? it was quite cold so perhaps that didn't help? also I have a red airbag light on which maybe is affecting somehow...

Is your battery ok? I had a few faults come up, found that the battery was on its way out. Replaced it and (fingers crossed) no more error messages!

I've had the exact same problem, for me its been going on for 4 months. First they changed parts of the wiring(had it in for 3 weeks) but that didn't help. After that i heard that it may be caused by having a bad battery, changed it to one from BMW witch they use in their large diesels and it was sopposed to be a lot stronger. All well for about 2 months until the water sensor broke in -20 deg. During the fix of the problem with the water sensor the battery run out. Recharged it at land rover but after about 2 h of drive it came up again. Now it comes on from time to time. Going back to LR tomorrow, hopefully they will find something. RRS TDV8 -08

No it was Wimbledon Land Rover... they spent 40 mins today on the car, they fixed the airbag light and didn't even charge a penny ... they are very decent guys I think.... The fault came up regarding the switch as I have been getting faults on the dash.... I think £70 odd quid to fix the switch tomorrow while I wait..
