Various faults

Hi there

I fairly new to this site and brought my rrs in june. Its a MY05/06

I've had a few fault issue come up:

transmission fault traction reduced
suspension fault (yellow light comes on with two arrows either side)
Air bag light
sterring wheel buttons dont work intermittenly

I have booked this in for a check and I got a warrantly from LR as I brought it from a dealership.

Just wanted to know if these are common faults and will be covered under the warranty.

Thnaks in advance

Jag

This might sound stupid, but have you replaced a brake light bulb lately or have you got a brake light bulb that is out? This is a common problem for making the dashboard light up like a christmas tree Shocked Ive no idea on your problem with steering wheel, sorry.

I recently has the rear lights tinted so they were taken off.

However the faults don stay permenantly. They come and go...sometimes it can be up to a week before they come up again.

As mentioned check your rear bulbs. easy enough to do. 2 screws holding rear assy. air bag senor maybe or loom connection. though when i had a glowing dashboard including supension light it was my brake switch which is just above your brake pedal. but as its in warranty let the garage sort it just in case they blame you for trying to sort it yourself.

Hi

Recently had an intermittent fault with the yellow suspension light coming on, this has been fixed with a new compressor.

The air bag light can be a loose connection under the drivers seat or within the steering column, i ended up having a new, think they named it a clock spring located under the drivers airbag within the steering wheel, i may be wrong but this clock spring is like a connection block and your intermittent steering wheel button issue along with the air bag light may be connected. --------------------------
