MRS VA'S NEW CAR AGAIN

The lovely Mrs VA has decided she wants another new car - so the Volvo XC90 will be going. She now wants as D3 so any of you lovely members who have contacts the deal is. D3 SE most colours are ok but prefer Bonati with black leather interior. Auto Diesel with PDC. will spend in the region of £31k

The volvo will be part exchange.

The XC90 didn't last long then. Does she not like it (the XC90, I mean)?

No I don't like it! Did a trip to Dorset last weekend and whilst the drive was fine, the engine had plenty of umph I just look at the car and think Volvo - which is not a good thing! Mrs VA likes the D3 too so it looks like time for a swap also there's a lot more room in the rear to fit things in! Shocked 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

VA, in all seriousness you might want to chat with my broker. He seems to pull a rabbit out of a hat for me every time (and others that I've recommended him too).... I can PM you details if you'd like.

If you're D3 is going to be used for carrying kids in the back, then consider one with rear air conditioning. It is brilliant. The HSE has it. I'm not sure if the SE does. It is well worth it if you're going to be using all 7 seats or if you carry a dog in the back.

Just to explain, with rear air con, there is a seperate air con system in the boot. This is controlled via a button on the dash and can either be off, auto or manual. In auto mode it is set to operate the same as the front air con, so the driver has the control of the temperature of the total car. If set to manual, the middle row passengers can control the temperature, fan speed and air direction by a set of knobs on the a roof panel.....but you don't let the kids touch that! Smile Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!

PS. Did I say that the D3 is better than the RRS?
