Still don't see the prob and I'm never likely to as I've had some banter from RRUK on this badge topic.

There are plenty of AMG and M's around that clearly do not have the required amount of beans in the engine bay. They are usually very highly spec'd and well maintained. Better than most cars on the road.

It's all about freedom of choice and expression. Personally I wouldn't be seen dead in a pair of Tesco's fake Levi jeans, but some of you might be happy with that. Wink TDV6 - gone

Not us, but certainly a lot of D3 drivers. If there's not a local Tescos, they just go shopping at people's washing lines Wink

I say each to their own. If it fools some people, good for them, however as we've seen in this example, it mostly gets ridiculed. People who know, know. To intentionally try and fake it with the full badging etc is a bit of muppetry. Josh, I accept yours came that way.

Its just like the BMW //M badged cars that have a 318 under the bonnet, take them on and they are left looking a bit silly! Laughing L319 D4 HSE
